Sufjan Goodness
Sufjan was amazing in concert. You wouldnt think a state themed musical cheerleading show would be my thing, but it was totally my thing. Wish i could have seen more than one show. I have his Seven Swans disc coming in the mail and i am eagerly awaiting it.
Trip was fun too. Saw two movies while i was in the mitten, Exorcism of Emily Rose, and 40 year old virgin. Both were good, although not shockingly, in very different ways.
Next weekend is U2! Havent seen them since Continental Airlines Arena in NJ in Oct 2001. Been too long....

I've had trouble getting into Sufjan. But I do regret not going to see him live. Maybe by the time he gets to his "North Dakota" album, he'll play here.
I'm amazed it's been 4 years since you've seen U2. That just seems wrong. That's another band that I'd like to see live someday. I saw they played a few intimate shows while warming up for this tour and I think that would be excellent.

I know this will sound cheesy, but they seriously put on an intimate arena show. I dont know any other band that could pull that off.
As for Sufjan, i started with Illinois so im real new to him. I dont know if he would have hooked me like this if i started elsewhere.
